Mainly b/c you used a material with some give that might let the edge press down into it when it was actually being honed-I'd wonder if it was possible with the paper on glass more then the wood....

So, have you gotten a good look at the edge you honed this way, Chris? I'm wondering if its more rounded then usual. And if it is, I'm wondering if it'll end up making any difference in the long run....
