Sorry Euclid440. It should be read as the way the stone warped; my razor would dig into the stone towards the ends of the stone. The ends of the stone is warped upwards a little.

Thanks. Right now I only have the naniwa12k just for refreshing. But lapped the stone because the way it warped my razor kept digging in on the ends of the stone even with no pressure the blade would...

No I left it on the counter to dry then put it...

Hi I just got a naniwa 12k stone a week or 2 ago. I also bought a Norton flattening stone. I lapped the naniwa and refreshed my blade (7 swipes) then put it away. Then the next time I went to use it...
