Thanks Bigspendur, quick slightly off topic question, are razors with a smile more difficult to strop? I haven't even begun to think about honing yet so stropping is my only issue.

Doing 2 WTG passes first is what I generally do as I sometimes have trouble in other areas XTG too. Thank you for the advice, now all I need is my beard to grow back out so I can put it to good use :)

I did look at the whiskarmap but it didn't really give me any surprises as I have a pretty good handle on the direction of my beard growth.
