    Nope, The reverse side of the strop is rough...

    Nope, The reverse side of the strop is rough leather and I'm not sure if that's suitable for pasting. It looks like it'd quite punishing to an edge.

    Hello again,
    I was wondering if 1 micron diamond paste will give a sufficiently smooth shaving edge or do I need to move to 0.5 micron chrome oxide or diamond to get an adequately polished edge?...
