I really wasn't planning on a new strop but the more I read about about it on forums and various reviews the more I thought I would like it. I ordered the English bridal leather to go with it as well...

I suspect a lot of strop makers stick with this layout, it just makes sense from a design stand point, and from my point of view. My strop is a 30 Degree so we can add it to the compatible with SRD...

Just in case any one else was curious l received the following reply from SRD.

Can any one who owns an SRD 3 inch hanging strop tell me what the distance from center to center of the screw holes is? This would be where the leather is joined to the handle and top swivel point. ...
