No internet search I tried over a couple of days provided the information Alex at Strazors was able to send me...

My original post has the image of the maker’s stamp on the tang that showed the full Boker imprint and the tree.

Thank you to Bob for the suggestion to contact Alex at Strazors.

He was very quickly able to supply a graphic that solves my mystery.

I managed to get a photo with just the right amount of light. I’m pretty sure the remaining etch says “Clean” or “Clear”.

I have a Boker straight on which the blade etching is very nearly gone, but when held at the right angle to the light looks to me to be “Clean Cutter”. I can’t find any reference to that.
