Ok, so the bush is definitely broken in now. Really glad I got it it makes lather really easy, controls well, and had just the right amount of stiffness and feel on my face. I'm definitely a fan.

Thanks for the tip, I typically soak the tip in hot tap water while I shower. I'll try the overnight cold water for my next shave.

Update on the 1800
Picked it up a while ago and spent about two weeks making a lather in my bowl or palm every day before using it. I've got 8 to 10 shaves in with it now and it is just getting softer, but still...

Been thinking about picking one up for a second brush. I've been using a Latherwhip badger with 22mm knot. I use puck soap and bowl lather. It works fine, but is kinda floppy and takes a while to...
