For what I heard about, many professional barbers (at least here in Italy) used cuticules with oil in the past.

You're right regarding the quality of the razor, and the fact to use a better one... but, when I saw the cracks, I however tought to use it to see how the Honyama worked on that Ozuku.

Wanted to test IF I could use a small Sho-Honyama stone (seller rates it 10/15K Grit :hmmm:) as a "Nagura" finisher after Ozuku's diamond slurry...

Well... think not. Doesn't seems fine enough....

Forgot to say I jointed the edge a couple of times for both the razors, but evidently it wasn't enough. Btw. just ordered a linen strop 'cause had just a leather strop. Regarding the Tomo... it's on...
