How you mean this? The scale making here is not different, to the way all guys here do it. Cutting the scales with a electr. scroll saw, sanding, drilling. Nothing spectacullar.

Pipe-Razor with macassar/maple plywood
A little Wostehholm Pipe-Razor with a special macassar/maple plywood, that a friend of mine, made. The wedge is from black vulcanfibre and tin in a similar zebra-lock like the scales.
