All things being equal the 6/8 will be heavier and larger in the hand,,, again it gets a bit dicey trying to make "rules" in this hobby as I can almost always find an exception to it :p

So...

There is more difference between 5/8 and 6/8 razors than the 1/8 inch

The tang size and spine size jumps up so they have more over all mass, which is one reason why I have always recommended them...
