    Awesome. Thank you for the great pic. So it looks to be that one difference is the shank where it tapers to heel (hope that is the correct name).

    My wife and I thinking of getting into 18th century reenacting. Since I am now learning straight shaving, and trying my hand at knife making, I am looking for some pictures or drawings of mid 1700's...
