afaik the whole thing is on hold because the gold dollar people won't take any form of payment that we can safely send from overseas.

I've discussed this with fnord, i'm going to cover this first batch and have 'em shipped to me (or at least a couple)

then i'm going to hone two of them (in case one is an anomaly) and see how...

i can cover it if need be.

what is the smallest lot they will let us buy? i'd be willing to contribute some money for a "test lot" and just write it off if they turn out to be crap.

ok now that I'm not at work I can see it. If they are decent alloy I'm in for two dozen at least.
