Until the heel of that razor is repaired, it doesn't really matter what strop you use or get, the result will be the same....

Look at the heel and wear of your razor. The speculation beyond that is amazing!!!!! now you have a Hero and a razor with very poor wear!!! I can't imagine the heel of that razor not marking or...

Look at your razor and it looks like both the shoulder/heel of the razor and the wear of the razor are your problems. Using an X stroke would insure the entire edge gets stropped.
