I could do that with my 5k, but my OCD brain will require me to lap off the identifying markings I put on the sides and ends of the hone. I CANNOT work with an upside down hone! :gaah:

Yes, but I don't think an American company will see any point in going higher.

Because they are tool hones, I doubt that ever will happen.

I have or have gone through 16 SuperStones. None of them ever have shown any sign of crazing or cracking.

I just checked mine and all of them are fine except for the 5k, which does have some crazing on about two inches of one end.

Has anyone seen crazing transition to actual cracking?
