Yup. In my opinion it sounds like you would be better off not buying the other hones. It's not just the money, it's also a matter of the time needed to learn how to use them.

How many razors do you think you will be honing?

If you know what you are doing, the 12k is aggressive enough to cut bevels. Lower grit hones would be faster, but this leads to a question of your needs.
