There is no point in lapping if you are not doing...
There is no point in lapping if you are not doing it with straight surface. Use the stones one at another, with their working surfaces, in small circular motion, or use the Pumice stone...

That's the same thing I noticed about my Lithide...
That's the same thing I noticed about my Lithide lapped with the 1000 grit... The Itsapeech lapped much finer, and it looks harder too. However, at the places it seams to be getting a slight shine....
