This is spot on....The 20K will ONLY work it's magic IF your razor is at it's best coming off the hones. If the razor is not truly finished, the 20K will not improve or finish the razor.

I know it is hard to commit so much money to this hone, but when it's in your hand and is put to razor, then you know it was worth the money. It consistently finishes off the edge to be slickly...
