    I agree. When one sets an ad to expire at a given date, one has to expect the ad may (worst-case?) be listed for that entire period. So plan accordingly

    Since there isn't a way to delete the ad or edit...

    Since there isn't a way to delete the ad or edit the expiration after the ad is placed, that might be a good idea
