I went through two 12 packs of the Saranac Oktober samplers. Good stuff. One of the perks of working out at home is that I can start my beer on the shower right after.

The Rasputin was really good. I'm following it up with the Southern 2x, which I think I like even more. I mean, it's different, so that's more a statement about my personal taste than anything else.

I just got home with some goodies. I've had the Java Head before, and I really like it, but the other two are first timers for me.

The other night I had a Deschutes Obsidian Stout with my hanger steak. If you are a fan of dark beers, this is one you have to try.
