Just curious, is the area of the tip easily movable from side to side with your finger tip pressure, as the razor that epd returned was ?

That is what I would do. Maybe some circles when setting the bevel. Hitting it at the heel, middle and point.

I think I see it. I would try honing as is. You will probably have uneven wear but it beats causing a crack or breaking off a chunk trying to straighten it. :gl:

Actually I think he has 4 trillion but when he got over 99 million I stopped counting ...... :p

Need to see a couple of pix. Maybe a head on frontal shot and a side view. I wouldn't try to straighten it if I didn't have to. Might start a crack or even snap a piece off.
