Well, doesn't the act of straight shaving impart just a bit of gentlemanliness(???:thinking:) even to most churlish of characters who in their misspent youth perhaps even whacked golfballs off...

I also shave at the gym about 90% of the time these days.

Mostly I get a "wow, haven't seen one of those in ages..."
