I don't think the problem is the quality of the scales they use its mostly the fit and finish of the scales. I think the quality of the horn scales I have is top notch just that the polish job sucks....

I have about a dozen TI's of various types all bought new and probably half of them have issues as was pointed out here. My attitude about this is if you want a pretty razor with excellent finishing...
