What is the blade width (5/8" e.g.?) anything under 9/16" can be an issue for a new user as it is harder to maintain a consistent angle. Anything under 4/8" can really be hard to control

One thing to also keep in mind is that the blade is 2 - 2 1/2 times as wide as a DE blade, so you are taking much more whiskers per stroke, you will feel more resistance as you cut them. Lather and...
