With my mystical stone I don't even have to touch the hone, just wave the razor above a few time.........

Speaking for me, I don't use a DMT 325 unless I have to remove lots of metal to fix a chip or frown. They usually will give a ragged edge that have to be fixed with a gentler hone later on

On an easy bevel, 10mins on a 1k, 10mins with a Norton 4k/8k and 5 mins on the PHIG. The times include making slurry and rinsing or quick lapping hones if needed

If I'm setting a bevel with no issues (chips, frown etc) I can usually finish a razor in under 45 min and lots of times way less with my King 1k, Norton 4k/8k and PHIG. I've done well over 100 with...
