I forgot about that one. I did the same thing also. Keep it close to the face, 30 degrees or less.

I had that skipping problem also. Mine was a combination of not knowing how hard to grip the razor and a razor that was not sharp enough.

Gliding through the skin is never a good thing!!! Better only the hair:)

My first shave felt the same way afterwards, but it improved greatly in a week or so.
