I got my hone today from the ebay seller, it seems slightly different than my Woodcrafters stone (harder, finer?). I bought the un-lapped one so I've got some work to do!!

Will do, but as the other poster said they are all slightly different, my other one is of the softer grey variety, hopefully this one will be the darker variety

Well, I couldn't take it anymore and ordered a Cnat from the ebay seller, I'll see how it compares to my Woodcrafters Cnat

Narrow hones are also great for warps, lap one of the narrow sides of the C-Nat

I'll save one or two good ones for you (if I can figure out what to buy?)!! Or maybe you're closer and will get all the good ones before me? ... lol

Visually, what are the signs to look for when choosing a good one? I've got a woodcraft 20 miles away and might pickup a #2 or order it from Poland.
