    They do believe in "teeth" in the old manuals but all the m'scope shots don't support this in the finished product. It is more a slightly wavy line.

    It may just be semantics how we describe it...

    I believe the coating is a compensation for a less than perfect edge. You can get closer to perfect by hone & strop if you have the skills.

    Personally I think exfoliation is great as long as no blood is involved . :)
