How do you maintain the give once the glue & abrasive is dry on the wheel ? My looseleaf wheels become like stone grinding wheels till I hammer them into submisssion.

Yep that's the stuff I use & was talking about. I thought it was hide glue ? Maybe not.

The hide glue used for "bobbing" sets hard so the wheel is also. I use it on looseleaf wheels but give them a good bash with a hammer after it sets to soften them up.
