OK, I'll bite. Why does "double bevel" make you think of single bevel knives ? :)

A blade can be asymmetrical in grind & still have small bevels. Uneven grinding or high spots etc will cause all sorts of bevel shapes.

Very few razors are ground evenly.
It could be a pressure issue, especially for a new honer but a warped spine or uneven grind will accentuate the bevel shape.
