The M5 Shap = 5mm thick. It is the cheaper non pro version of the 10mm full size Pro but for the home kitchen etc. It is bonded to a ceramic tile base. Don't use that side :p

If the bevel is not properly set as is mostly the case with most new Dovos... No.... well, not in a reasonable amount of time.

I would suggest getting it pro honed by one of the senior members...
