The state of the razor usually determines the process for me Grant. If the tangs all rusty I pop the pins.

This is one I got on eBay a while back & put off doing anything with it as edge & blade faces were in such a sad state. Scales & tang weren't too bad tho.
Thought I kept some B4 pics but apparently...
