So has anybody done a before & after honing, scope shot of coti slurry. Might show if the xtals break down or if they are actually from...

I like this theory but it also shoots down the rhomboidal facets playing a part in honing as the slurry would then be smaller than the 5- 20 microns & irregularly shaped. Maybe in final polishing...
