It depends on how you define 'mint'. A very nice restoration does not make it mint.
Mint implies as new to me & it ain't that without a gold tang for starters.

I dunno but I've never seen a mint Goldedge that didn't have a gold plated tang.
Also you can see the overruns where he applied the blue enamel.
