Elaborate? It was a question. Not sure if different mfrs. did their own heat treating after the grind. Did your source mention anything about that?

Blanks may very well be the same but what about the value-add? Grinds? Heat treating? Polishing?

I deal with this all of the time with Asian mfg. One casting source and many 'finishers'. Quality...
