It's interesting to me that this could work.

My SB already had a great burnishing on it and it looks the best afterwards.

I did notice that to get a good consistent finish, it took...

I polished a couple of stones and got them shining like a mirror.

After wiping them down with acetone, a lot of the shine disappeared.

Is it possible that you are just filling in the pores...

Please let us know how those polished stones work. Even as slick as they look, when I get one working the way that I like, I'm afraid to monkey with it.

I have a couple from Dan's and there really is not much difference between the black and the trannies.
