I found the grind to be more of a determining...
I found the grind to be more of a determining factor. Stiffer grinds tend to deflect less so they mow through any resistance. However, more delicate grinds are easier to hone (less metal to remove)...

I have a 9/16 wedge that I'll have to send out...
I have a 9/16 wedge that I'll have to send out for re-grinding because it was damaged by EXTENSIVE pitting. Once I get'er all fixed up, you'd be more than welcome to try her out.
