If you try PLEASE DO NOT use the oven or stove unless you love smoke. I use an old bread to agitate the beans and heatgun for providing the heat.

Sounds as if you have the same coffee problem that I have. I have it so bad I have to roast my own green beans.

You got me curious so I just ordered one. This makes about 8or9 different coffee makers I have. Have you ever used a vacuum pot?

I am not familiar with the areopress so forgive me if this is no help.
Most double shots use 14 to 20 grams coffee in espresso machines.
