Scored this beauty. The BIN price was prohibitive but that didn’t stop me from making an offer, and it was accepted.

I do the same, typically with heavier grinds and framebacks. A 1k synthetic bevel setter, a coticule and chrox is all you need.

I have a few vintage coticules on the way from Ontario. Strange enough, my orders from Europe seem to be arriving at my door faster than shipments from within Canada.

Treated myself to a new Schulze #14 from Revisor. Hopefully it will arrive just in time for Father’s Day.

That is a lovely strop!

In my experience most Solingen blades of that size are made from #14 blanks, and they all seem to perform similarly.

Additionally, edge retention has never been a concern with any high quality...
