Steve, looks like the flashers on the French razor are sporting different hats, beanie and baseball cap as opposed to the fedoras on the Kobar. But there must surely be a link.

Scored this beautiful NOS Ern #14 with an impeccable bellied full hollow grind as a bonus. Looking forward to honing it and the shave.

New #14 to add to the stable arrived today. A Frederick Ern " Fewa". The grind on this one is extra hollow and beautifully executed. Looking forward to tomorrow morning's shave.

Well, I can add that the factory edge on the razor was flawless. I am typically fussy and will do my own fine tuning on my coticule, but this one didn't require more than a good stropping.

Indeed, the pivot pin is not center. It is only off center on one side of the scales, so doesn't seem deliberate but more like a poorly done pinning job.

The blade is still center and the scales...

Received my NOS no name #14 today. This one is unstamped, safe for a faint Solingen printed on the tang. Looks like a #14, feels like a #14 and shaves like a #14. So I will go ahead and post it here...
