Paua is a particularly colorful type of abalone with gorgeous rainbow colors and effect.

I don't mind plain micarta, faux tortoise etc...scales, but ugly wood, which is what I currently...

I have a new Le Grelot razor which shaves nicely.....I like the blade quite a bit, but I find the scales uninspiring and rather blah......
