I figured out one problem. My Spike was shaving a little rough. So I made a slurry on my 12k and ran it over 20 times then 20 times with water.

Smooth shave this...

This is a great thread IMHO. I hope that this can shed some light on any issues that people may be having.

I know that in reading the posts that I have had a few light bulbs go off.

Lets get all the ideas and combinations in one place and start a discussion on the pros and cons. New guys like me would greatly appreciate it.
