    One of my other razors restored by Joe has a malachite (green colored) stone wedge. I also saw another recent restoration of his that used a brass wedge.

    I was under the impression that pink ivory was a type of wood. Ivo's post said "pink ebony," but I thought was just a slip of the tongue.

    Natural ivory scales are quite attractive though.

    Note that the CA finish on both is absolutely smooth and clear. What you see in the photos is the reflection of the countertop they are sitting on in the finish itself.
