After a lot of rain, lightning and thunder last night...in the morning shining the sun again and we got 86 F.
The wet unpaved ways produced some mud..a little bit.

SOTD Thursday
The new toy, so time to bring out the other #1 favourites too...
Soap: Eau Sauvage Shaving Cream - Luxuriously creamy
Razor: New Dovo straight with mammoth ivory scales (Its first use)
Brush: Rod Neep SS-GE in Veined Quartzite (& stainless steel)
Aftershave: Eau Sauvage
(and also my EDC pocket knife that I fitted with mammoth ivory scales many years ago).
Just like the old knife, the new razor will be used regularly and not become a closet queen.
Oh no, now you've done it my BYRAD (Birth Year Razor Acquisition Disorder) is kicking. I had a 1962 model Gillette Tech but one day quite unexpectedly the threaded bit that the handle screws into snapped off inside the handle. Shucks, I guess it's time to go hunting. Last year about this time, I sent my brother his birth year razor (a 1956 Flare Tip which looked brand spanking new). Confidentially, it was quite difficult to turn loose :) Which reminds me, his birthday is on the 18th of next month maybe a tub of Tabac and a Vie Long brush?
