happy belated birthday Mr Magnus, and hope you really enjoy the days celebrations at the wedding Carl!

Used the body shop for the first time today, great lather in literally the first swirl of the brush. Last week up here, and will probably have to send the No. 24 off for a honing, still lovely and tight shave, but a little sore in the difficult areas.

    Saturday Afternoon Shave and Haircut

Cold Water Wash, Fat Handle Tech/Merkur 37C, VDH Boar, Mitchell's and Olive Oil Superlather, Olive Oil Post Shave, Old Spice Classic, Soundtrack: Sonny Boy Williamson- "Nine Below Zero"

The Fat Handle Tech rendered a great three pass face shave. However, it had been two weeks since my last haircut so the spud fuzz required some heavier artillery. That's where the Merkur with a fresh blade comes in. Spud and face both BBS.

2nd shave with my Hartsteel. After touching up the edge, a lot smoother shave. Will take a bit to get used to the size but definitely a nice shaver.
