    The blade had active rust and pitting. im not leaving that. a patina will be built again after some use.

    Take a straight edge and a Stanley knife with you to bunnies and cut the sheets in half. If your car has roof bars, which I imagine as a surfer your car will have, then take with you or buy 4 stout bits of timber, some.if the pine from the new studwork in that wall if there is any left will do. Put 2 pieces on the roof bars, put the sheets of gyproc on them put the other two pieces of timber on top.
    The Timber needs to be towards the outside of the boards, it will stop the wind catching the sheets and bending them back. Obviously tie or strap the whole shabang down.
