This is actually Sunday's shave, lost electricity shortly after for a day and then the internet was still out last night. I finished this razor on an old Norton translucent Arkansas that I had lying around, and I'm rather surprised at how well it shaves! The edge itself doesn't have the same polish as it would coming off of the 12k, but I couldn't ask for a smoother shave. A really nice surprise, I will be using that stone as a finisher again in the near future :)

My Uncle got this razor a few days ago, as a gift, from his barber but the edge wasn't quite to his liking. The edge was in pretty good condition so I just refinished it and it's pretty comfortable to shave with now. Needs a bit more refinement but it shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to do.

I picked these up this summer and finally put steel to stone last night, pretty pleased with the edge I got on these, smooth shave.
Debating on a rescale for both, they're green acrylic, which is fine but they both have letters scratched in them, and getting the pins tight for some reason isn't happening. The wedges spin and the pivot pins need to be a lot tighter, peening doesn't seem to be getting it done.

IMO they are cool with the original green scales, sand and carefully buff out the scratch’s then re-pin.
