I spent a few minutes before the shave giving the edge a bit of refinement. A 4 pass shave without irritation proves it's plenty sharp and comfortable. It is quite a nice razor (I'm a big fan of the jimps on top and bottom of the tang) and it almost makes me want to buy one now.... almost.

An overall relaxing shave enjoyed to the xylophone tunes of Cal Tjader. Brought me right back to movie scenes from the 60's and 70's.
The blade had received a fresh edge on the new coticule last week, but it's a tad bit sharpish and not smoothish. Need to work on that a bit. The new coti needs getting used to and this is just part of that process. :)
I take it with a smile, because I genuinely like honing. It's Zen.
Went for the close-up shot in B/W today.

What a shave from this beauty I rescaled in blood red acrylic following the original scale pattern and used the original wedge. Extra hollow ground gives vociferous feedback but leaves you whisper smooth. What a nice way to start the weekend!
