Good morning on a bright and sunny Florida Friday

Had to break away from one key element of my setup this morning, giving the Shavemac Americana a rest after close to 30 days of straight use as it shed a few too many hairs during the last two shaves and I switched that vital cog in the shave machine with a simple Savile Row that showed me the contrast between the D01 3 band and SR's soft "Best" badger. It truly felt like what most folks would consider a "shave brush". Just enough backbone, certainly a pleasing softness, and it took to the Tabac very well. I am nearing the end of this Tabac puck that came in the milkglass jar but don't worry, I have backup!

A splash of Floris JF completes the shave. A pricy bit of juice but one of my all time favorites dating back to 2007 and at least 4 flacons have bit the dust since then. If one would desire close to supreme luxury in an aftershave splash, the Floris would be it.

15 laps on Kanayama shell postshave and I placed the Heljestrand back into its case gently along with its twin.

Prep: Hot shower with Mysore Sandalwood bath soap
    Brush: Noble silver tip
    Soap/cream: Barrister and Mann's Lavanille
    Razor: Eiko 6/8
A/S: Captains Choice bay rum, Em's balm
    EDP: Amouage Epic

This Eiko razor is truly one of the finest razors I own. It gives no quarter when wielding it at a 3 or 4 day beard.
