    Sunday Night 18th January 2015
    Razor: Rolls Razor
    Soap: Monsavon Bol à Raser
    Brush: Frank Shaving Synthetic
Post: Alum, Old Spice White Water

I restored the rolls some time ago, new leather on the strop, a spare strop with chromium oxide, honed the blade with the same kind of progression of hones that I would generally use for a restored straight. Well the shave was great, like a straight on a stick.
The soap I had forgotten about, I picked it up in the summer while on holiday in France, its cheap and I found it in a small conveninece store. This is the first time I have used it with my home water, which can kill lather from some of the expensive soaps, but it was fantastic. Great lather, nice fragrance and lovely glide; true value for money!
    Regards
    Nic

    Last nights shave,
I only finished honing this T. Glossop Kno Kut safety guard razor yesterday
    Proraso pre
    Proraso sensitive soap
    Proraso ASB
Oscar11 brush (yes yet another one lol, I must half a dozen I think, all great)
    T.Glossop Kno Kut razor
    Becker scuttle.

I was a bit scared of using this at first (the fact you just shave rather than trust your own angles, I think) and I have to say it was great very quick and easy, nice smooth shave very impressed. It is a bit bulky with the screw on the end though.
