Meißner Tremonia Gentle Menthol

Right. Please meet the latest stroke of genius from Meißner Tremonia's secret lab: Gentle Menthol. It is gentle, but only compared to their Mint Ice Menthol freeze bomb. As per usual, Meißner Tremonia did not leave well enough alone, and added hints of rosemary and lavender. This has resulted in a line of products that I personally find the best, and certainly most interesting, when it comes to menthol.

So, in the picture, we have the pre shave soap, the shaving soap, and the new aftershave balm. The soaps work exactly as well as their differently scented cousins. The balm is new, and the first real contender for the #1 spot (vis-à-vis Baume.be). Soothing, cooling, deliciously scented, it is a true winner. The airless dispenser is not the prettiest in the world, but works better than the violet glass bottles previously used.

The razor is a new Revisor 7/8 with scalloped back. Works as advertised, and will give any vintage 7/8 round point a run for its money.

The brush is a 36mm three band one. Especially useful if you intend to perform a twenty pass shave - that is as much lather as it will hold if required.

So, yeah, that was a really good shave. There simply is no replacement for quality products...
